The Lord’s Supper of Holy Communion is celebrated at all Saturday and Sunday services.
Saturday 4:30 p.m. Chapel worship with hymns
Sunday 9 a.m. Contemporary worship with praise band
Sunday 11 a.m. Traditional worship with organ, choir
Sunday 10 a.m. Friendship, cool drinks, coffee, pastries. Here’s an extra moment to digest Jesus’ good Word and His wonders in our lives today.
An option: If you prefer NOT to enter the sanctuary, you can listen live to any worship service in our parking lot. Tune your radio to AM 1090. Phone us before worship (941-365-0844), and after worship Pastor Stephen will know to bring the Lord’s Supper to your car. Please tell Pastor Stephen when he can bring to your home Jesus’ sacramental Body and Blood.

Holy Communion:
“This (bread) is My body. This (wine) is My blood, for the forgiveness of your sins.” Jesus promises (Matthew 26:26-28)!
“When you eat the bread and drink the cup, you together proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes again.” Jesus died for all the world’s forgiveness. Soon He’ll bring all believers to heaven’s Feast! “So do not eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord in a way that is not worthy of Him. If you do, you will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. A person should take a careful look at himself before he eats the bread and drinks from the cup. Recognize the body of the Lord!” (1 Corinthians 11:26-29).
- Dear friends, we respectfully ask that only baptized believers, hungering for forgiveness and sharing our faith, should receive the Lord’s Supper. Please, speak to Pastor. Help us offer you our best care, from Jesus!
- Concordia celebrates this Sacrament of the Altar at every regular worship service.
- You are welcome to worship with Concordia whether or not you are ready to come to Jesus’ body and blood.
